ORIGINAL: commandergren So, I'm one of those people who like playing scenarios to the bitter end. But it would be a lot of fun if there was the option to continue the war with a "World War III" option if both Japan and Germany surrender. The idea would be simple, if you said yes to the option then at the moment that both countries surrender each player would be randomly assigned either the Allies (UK, France, USA, India, China) or the Soviet Union (and Chinese Communists). The randomness would be to ensure that the Allied player doesn't try to favour one side or the other in the End Game, since he or she could find themselves with the weaker side. It would be a fun element to add to the game. Would it be historical? Maybe not, though it was a possibility. And maybe the game isn't designed to be stretched that far, but it would be neat to try it (and open up some very different fronts). Anyway, just a thought, and sorry if this is not the right folder to post it in. But is this something the game mechanics could be adapted to allow? not very strong the assetments, URSS dont have navy at the end of the war, is not interesting a game without navy; what you mean is a game of COLD WAR, which the armys are static and is all spiying and politics; but not movement of troops as what real happened.
