Thanks for the response BDukes. If you look at the image I embedded, the reset buttons don't reset the selections to blank, but reset the affected units or missions impacted by the Doctrine changes to follow those selections. I was doing this at the global level (from the game toolbar menu with no unit selected so it would apply to all units/missions, in this case as a side doctrine), but confirmed this behavior persists even if I try to change the setting for a mission or a single unit. I know this functionality worked to allow me to set ranges for various weapons in the past because I by default always reset some of the global rules/doctrines mission EMCON settings, and weapon ranges this way before I start any and all missions, specifically so I can make sure I control the options. I have been seeing this issue since the 1147.36 release. I was asking because I was wondering if the functionality was changed (the values are not show as entered but are retained and used by the affected units) or if this was really a bug. On the off chance you were correct that not clicking the reset would keep the values, I tried that option and can confirm they are lost anyway (with or without the reset). I also remain unsure if the actual selection is saved and enforced, even though the value is lost on the screen, but have not been able to successfully test and verify this. Hence my ask. Maybe the DEVs had some information I was missing, or if this was a bug, became aware of it and could address it. While this doesn't ruin game play I am enough of a control freak, I guess, that I kind of want to know I have the ability to make these selections to affect my play. Thanks for any and all's efforts to clarify this for me!
