Hi all,
As there seems to be a number of people against removing the multi chit ability in research for strategic bombers, then realistically perhaps you should allow multi chit on all aircraft types? This would only then be fair as fighters could then be by 1943 at level 5 as well as the strategic bombers. You would have to include ground attack otherwise they would have no chance against level 5 fighters. If ground attack is done then it would only be fair to enable tanks etc to multi chit as well. This way by 1942 or 1943 we could have all a players key areas in researched maxed out.
Oh wait that would be unrealistic and create a huge imbalance in the game play. Sounds like what currently happens having Jet strategic bombers in 1943. Do you see my point!!!!
The other current areas of multi chit does not seem to be an issue as they dont directly affect combat performance. Knocking out cities supply lines with one bombing from a level 5 strat bomber certainly does.

I agree - there is some level of integrity conflict about 'research chit levels' and reasoning about using 1 or 2. The discussion has focused on the strat bombers, but as you bring up, there really needs to be a consensus or the whole thing looks like a house of cards as to reasoning.

This might be something worth posting in the main forum for everyone to reflect on.
