Just saw this last night on youtube and wasnt sure what it was, so watch most of it. Put you in a American aircraft carrier, hard to say which one and walking through in the hanger deck with your friend. Then up over the flight deck, climb into a SBD, everything seem pretty good except going after zeros with a payload of bombs under the wings. So after dropping the load onto a carrier, going crazy flying around over the Japanese Fleet and still trying to shoot down more zeros.

Reality, they normally dont do that, most pilots get in there drop their loads and get the hell outta there. The Americans doesnt want to lose more pilots, flying around too much will waste fuel and wont make it back to the carrier to land.

Still pretty good at the beginning, kinda ruin it in the middle of the whole thing. Idk, this have something to do with Call of Duty Gameplay?

The start looked good, after that it was just absurdly gamey. Yes it's definitely Call of Duty, not any kind of proper flight sim.

True, but for those of us who enjoy flight sims it looked like fun.

Thanks for sharing the link, Rising-Sun.

Boy if he become an ace in a single flight in a Dive Bomber, image what he could do in a Spitfire. I also so noticed his ammo count went up just after/before he sunk the carrier, video obviously edited. not much entertainment value really, sorry.

I enjoy flight sims a lot, though I'm long retired from competitive mmp and real life flight training. That's why I say it looked absurdly gamey after the cool pre-flight sequence. Obvious lack of flight physics, arcadish ballistics and bombing, and a pilot eyepoint that never moved. He was scanning the sky by turning the plane for goodness sake. Pacific Air War was more realistic. It did look like a fun arcade experience though.
