In Scenedit it appears we need to add each Satellite manually ?
Is there a way to simply add all, say Russian satellites etc. ?

I would think if a scenario is using them, then all relevant Satellites to a specific country should be added with a single click.
Or am I missing something ?

Thanks

You really don't want to do that! Satellites can really slow things down. Suggest you stick to the type(s) of satellite you want (IMGSAT. SAR, etc.) and if the scenario is short use the Satellite Pass Prediction tool to eliminate any that won't pass over the Operations Areas. It's cool to see a constellation of satellites but if they aren't helping they are a resource drag. Example, if you have heavy clouds IMGSATS will do you no good but SARs will help.

Concur with BD, you generally don't want to do that, and typically want to limit them to only what you need for the scene for resource conservation reasons. The overhead considerations aren't just for the sats themselves, but can depending what else is in the scene extends to targeting evaluation routines related to them.

So it's more than just the prediction tool, you also have to research the birds to make sure they will do what you want and consider your weather conditions. Like I indicated above, if you have solid overcast (and are not changing the weather conditions with a Lua script) then Imaging Satellites are useless and just take up resources. Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Signals Intelligence birds will be more useful in that case.

Hope that helps.
