Hello,

I bought the game this weekend, and tried to install + patch it.

First install no problem.
But with the update it begins the installation and then says " the following file is in use and cannot be accessed : C:....Campaigns/Pacific1941/events.txt"

And it does it for a lot of files, I can skip some, then i can only cancel update.

I have uninstalled the game (on the D:), deleted all files on the C:, then made a fresh install, restarted the computer, installed the update... and got the same problem.

I have bought the pack, so i have warplan europe + pacific, and i have the same problem with both of them

Any suggestions ?

2nd person that had an issue with the bundle.

Turn off any security software you have.
Right click and run the installer as admin.

Try that and get back to me. PM me as it goes to my email. I will be here all day.

Make sure it isn't installing to a One Drive cloud.

I can now launch a campaign and conquer the world
