It seems like the option is being ignored. I ran into it with a different scenario, but am using Wooden Leg to test it again because it is smaller and takes less time to repeat.

Every time Strike 1 is returning from its strike a tanker leaves its station to meet the package.

I'll include the save on the next post.

Is the option set for Tanker mission (not the strike mission) as well, if not that might explain it.

I had it cleared for both missions. It looks like, or at least seems like, if the mission is already active at scenario start, it'll ignore clearing the flag.

I got it to work by creating a new tanker mission, clearing the flag and transferring the aircraft to that mission.

Spoke too soon! As soon as a package hits BINGO and changes its status to 'heading to refuel point', the tanker leaves its track and heads to the package.

I believe that there is a safety feature- independent of "Tanker Follows Receiver Flightplan"- in which available tankers will rendezvous with flights that have gone Bingo.

Tanker Follows Receiver Flightplan = No: the flight/tanker combo goes back to the Tanker support mission track, if the refuel takes that long.

Tanker Follows Receiver Flightplan = Yes: the flight/tanker combo goes all the way back to base, if the refuel takes that long.
