I had a very long time away from these forums. I am currently looking into CMANO again and noticed that it is soemwhat discontinued at Steam. Can someone update me on what the best way is to get back into it? Install it via Steam or do a standalone setup via Matrix' installer?

Oh, so it isn't even CMANO any more. And I missed the transition discount by two years only. What a bummer.

If you already purchased it before then you should still be able to download it from steam, it should be in your library.

If you didn't purchase it before then the transition discount wouldn't have benefited you as it was for people who already own CMANO.

Well, I do own CMANO, I purchased it back then at Matrix and redeemed the Steam key some years ago before I dropped out.

I'm running the Steam version of CMO. Unless I'm missing something, the only downside to Steam is that usually quite a few unofficial patches for the game are released by the time Steam updates the game. In other words, unless you manually update the Steam version it's always behind the curve on what most players are talking about on the forums.
