Engineers in Solomons 42 Campaign?

For US I see the (sic) Americal Div as Engineers.

Is there a way to build engineers in this scenario because I get no joy with finding this option in the Build menu or the Change Unit Advancement option for other Infantry Units.

I also tried searching on this Forum for "engineers" and get "no results", which I find hard to believe.

Certain aspects of wargaming needs to be controlled otherwise they would be meaningless.

Specialties allow a player to build engineers so a unit can add that specialty.

Otherwise you could just build them at will and it would make them meaning less.

100 specialty points allows you to put one on any unit. There are 3-5 for each of air, land, and sea.

Thanks Alvaro!

I see this now as I progress-- the Specialty Point option is now available to those eligible units--very cool!

Enjoying this game as it is exactly the scope and depth that I have always wanted!

Pleased you like it. I put in all my experience into it even if it took me more hours than a business person would.
