How are Perdix Drones used? It shows as Anti-Air, but that seems odd for a slow drone.

As decoy\distraction, shift-f1 manual launched (including BOL ctrl-f1), much like you would a mald-j\tald, as I recall.

I think it is more used as a recon possibility. throw some of those under the cloud deck to reconnoiter for targets.

See load out of EO and IR camera.
Although personally I think the range of 30 Nm of the IR camera is quite optimistic.
