What's in store there? I haven't seen anything about that. Or maybe I missed it.

Missed it. Like Red Storm, we have a map values editor that can be used with your own image to make a map that will work in the game. The maps in the new game engine are even a bit more complex than before and there is no way to supply all of the tools (many being third party) with our software. We will have documentation explaining the map-making process and anyone wanting to do that can get the software and other elements and make similar maps. Right now our team has two map makers (one is William who programs more than making maps most of the time) and we will look to add a couple more to keep the DLCs flowing post-release. We will look at other options post-release and see if there is any real way to provide additional tools to help in this area, but the priority versus other features is low.

@WABAC, if you are interested in doing maps for our DLCs and then for your own needs as well, PM me if you have an interest and the time to be a content creator for the new game engine.
