Divisions sits on top of a depot, receives some freight only from this depot, thus should use horses to pull freight, but instead it says that 449 vehicles used and 59 lost in attrition.

And then players wonders why Axis has no vehicles, because all horses are dead, and trucks are used instead of them ;)

Likely very related. I see both used and attrition listing vehicles so it does seem odd. I was able to replicate it with the saves from the other bug report, so Gary should be able to answer whether there is a valid reason for this and/or a bug. Thanks.

So in this case Gary found that the vehicles used and attrition value were both there at the start of the German logistics phase. So they weren't actually caused by the supply run to the depot listed in the turn 28 supply detail report. It's possible this is bad data, or it could in theory be caused by a supply run during combat. However, I see no combat in the prior Soviet turn that included this Panzer division. I've asked Gary to tell me if the vehicles used were already set for the German unit at the start of the prior soviet phase. Unfortunately supply details are not available in the editor, so there's no way for me to take a Soviet turn save and look at German supply details data. It appears these used/attrition values are not cleared at the start of the German logistics phase. Depending on what I find from Gary, it might tell us what phase the data started showing up with the used trucks, so we would know where we would need to try to recreate the issue. In xhoel's case of seeing trucks lost by attrition but not any used, it could be related, or it could be a different issue entirely. Unfortunately since these values are not visible to me during the enemy turn, it makes it very hard to repeat a situation that happens in the enemy phase. Once I get more info I'll let you know what phase we think the problem is in, and what kind of saves we'd need to try to recreate it. Unfortunately, we probably need to have both auto saves and prelog saves (start and end of turn saves) for both players to have a chance of figuring this out.

They were not in a combat, just sitting on top of a depot.

Hopefully you will be able to find and issue

I have the issue I cannot get trucks into units - you would think that units on lvl 4 depot or even a 3 or at NSS would get all the trucks they need (last turn one of the French units on Berlin for 6 turns (Mot X) did suddenly get 900 truck all in one go?
No one else seems to get very many at all - I am going to try to make static and then make unstatic to see if that fixes things for me.

I think I have 8000 trucks in pool and 80k being repaired I am hardly moving and its may 42

Most Panzer have les than 30 mp - So I cannot attack all are not moving close to HQ and depots.

I think one mistake I made was sending a lot to NR winter 41 and got their trucks stolen - I ahve also in the last few turns been moving a lot of units by rail from NR = would that have any bearing on this issue??

Guys this is a real pain - we need to be able to allocate truck some way other than guessing some hidden Formula - If I am Hitler I want to rant to put my trucks where I need them. Else 42 offensive will fail, its going to test my patience soon.

Attach your saves probably. I had no problems with a trucks in reserve or TBs.

Attach saves so devs can look onto it. This is the only option.

maybe I have so many units depleted of trucks coming from NR things are getting very split up as so many units asking?

So I learned something new today. The Used column shown in the supply details screen is a combination of trucks used by the unit and trucks used by depots delivering freight to the unit. These two items combined are what's shown in the supply details screen. However, they are zeroed out at different times. It's possible that something was used during turn 27 (after the logistics phase) that doesn't get cleared until later. Unfortunately I can't exactly duplicate what happened on turn 27 so I can't recreate why there's 449 vehicles at the end of German turn 27 that still shows up as used in the supply details of turn 28. When I run through turn 27 from the start of turn save, Gary can see that the unit still has 449 trucks still showing in one of the variables, but the other has been zeroed out. That 449 is no doubt what is still showing up for you on turn 28, but in my case the unit draws from other locations and shows a higher number.

Bottom line is that Gary doesn't see something that is not WAD, and for him to dive into this to re-familiarize himself with the ins and outs of the accounting and displays is not something he feels is warranted. It's possible there are some delays going on in the system as with the rail usage. This isn't something that he created to be something that could be easily shown to the players. The supply details screen was an attempt to display some of the info, but it is only a part of the story. So at this point, all I can say is we think this is WAD, and that what you are likely seeing is info from some prior activity. Wish I had a better answer, but even getting this info/understanding was not easy.
