Status: offline 		Ponyri is where the rail station was, not in MA, as appears in the map.

Searched for population in 1939, and MA had just 700 habs. more.

There were combat in MA, but I guess the battle of Ponyri station in the northern sector of Kursk is known by every eastern front fan, but MA battle not?
