I think that Axis will decide on how to stay at sea first. This time it might actually have some relevance. Any suggestion on how to proceed?

I am wondering if you could post orders for the oil use, and breakdown as well? Then I could do the first part in one go. Saves in the breakdown step seems safe to use.

Seems we have a trade bug. All trades are mandatory, even the voluntary ones. Not sure how to fix this.

Have you done any part of our game in another version (newer), and then edited back the version number in order to continue with this game version? Just want to rule that out as a culprit before examining things.

Anyway. Don't think we can continue with this bug. Maybe editing can fix it? Think I saw that someone else had some similar bug.

It seems that the trade error had not occurred at the beginning of impulse 11. However, the error is there at the beginning of impulse 13 (next impulse).

I am considering going back to a save before the bug appeared, and to try and re-create the game without the bug.

Do you guys this is a solution that can be practically done?

I think that there is no culprit here. It falls into the category that 'things happen' when you get a 5-player game going for so long. I am amazed that so many get a game to survive into mid-game. And even more so at the end-game. And I do hope that we can manage to keep this game going until then.

If anything, the thing that messed us up might just be that the trade routines where altered in later MWIF versions. I couldn't even load our EOT save with the latest version.

Edit: Forgot to say that it is nice to know what might have caused the bug.

This has happened to other people. I remember seeing discussions on how to fix it, and I think someone did. Unfortunately, I don't remember how, but you might look at threads on the tech support forum, or the thread on editing the game in Mods.

It's pretty straight forward to fix, but it requires editing the game file. The edit, in my opinion, is very safe. If you wish, I can do it. Just post your game file. However; I understand if you don't wish to play with "edited" game files. Definitely your call either way ...

Thank you, Ronnie. I, or rather we, might take you up on your offer. However, I am going to make an attempt to recreate the game from a save without the bug and see if I can get it right without to much work. If I give up on that I am going to return to your offer and hope that solves it.

Start of turn
Allies

Voluntary Resource Lending:
CW -> China - 2 resource (1 oil)
USA -> Free France - 1 resource (1 oil)
USA -> China - 1 resource
USA -> CW - 1 resources (1 oil)

Allies will let Axis go first if we win the initiative. We will not ask for a re-roll.

Address the situation how you think best, I trust your judgement. If you need any assistance just ask.
