Anyone running CMO using an Intel 12th gen CPU, Nvidia 30 series GPU, DDR5 RAM, and Windows 11?

If so, how does it run, and did you have to make any adjustments to make CMO run?

Why would you have to make any adjustments? I just got a 12900k, 3080 Max-P DDR5 and Win11. I never even gave it a thought about needing to anything different. Upgrading from a 10950k, 2080 Super, DDR5, Win11.

I'm troubleshooting an error I'm getting with my new machine that I never saw on my old machine. Windows and Nvidia are current. I run everything stock (no tweaks or mods) and so far, haven't run into any issues with other programs. Seems to occur during any scenario when there is a lot of ordnance in the air. Running build 1147.34.

CMO doesn't support DX12 as far as I know. Don't confuse you having DX12 for your PC with what the game supports. The DX libraries are backward compatible.

That almost sounds like a hardware error. Like bad memory or something.

I'm pretty confident it's not a hardware issue since my other applications are running just fine. I suspect as you mentioned above, it's a compatibility issue with something.

I'm running Direct X 12 on Win 11 with no issues. Did you install via steam or manual? Where I'm going, is did you get all the prerequisites installed?

Mike

I installed via Steam but I'll take a look and make sure I have all the prerequisites again.

Thanks,

Make sure Nahimc overlays are off and I'd turn off Steam overlays also.

I upgraded recently and had to re-install Direct X 9.x before CMO would run.

Isn't DX one of the prerequisite installs?

If you have MSI Afterburner and use Rivatuner statistics you need to turn your rivatuner overlay/on-screen display off.
