It maybe escapes your notice, but if you follow the action closely, you might observe great variety in the game's combat animations. For example, in the attached AnimateIndirectFireExplosion0d file, you will observe the many different explosion types, and early stops and starts. In addition, the game code mixes it up, with sometimes one, sometimes two, often three explosions per arty fire, with randomized patterns and sequences.
