Please do something with your forum technology and the excruciating slow download speeds. This site is running like it’s 1999.

Thanks for the reply.

The speed issue is totally random and it’s been like this for years. Usually it’s slow but If lucky it can be relatively fast. Yesterday I started to download a game with a size of approx. 5 GB. It initially started with a 5-6 hours download time and it went up and down between 4-10 hours. After several attempts I finally retrieved the download but it took about an hour. With my current internet speed I can download a file with a size of 5gb in 6-8 minutes, but that’s not happening with downloads from the Matrix/Slitherine server (usually)

There were also timeout errors on the Matrix store yesterday and bad gateway errors ( 502 bad gateway ). This went on and off for several hours.

you can greatly increase speed by useing a network cable from your router instead of wireless. the cables are very cheap and you prob had one in the router box. there are other things you can do like turning off devices that may be updateing themselves etc..
