Hi Guys This is a yes or no type question so please do not bombard me with YES BUT.... syle answers since time would be very very limited if attempted. On the Mega Campaign, Long Campaign and the World War II Campaigns we are considering adding the abilty to allow for a Human opponet instead of the AI. Now!!!! wait one minute before running outside and yelling yea to the world. What this would NOT be is a two person campaign or gamers campaigning against each other (That feature will be available in Combat Leader) but one person playing the Campaign and the other person playing the Spoiler instead of AI. In some cases the Spoiler player will be allowed to buy and set up troops in other campaigns (Like the Mega Campaign) they would not. This would not always be the best balance battles. The games would be able be played via PBEM, H2H and over the Net. The campaigning player could play a few with his friends and then try one again against the AI and then go back to playing another battle with a friend. There will be no PBEM security on these type of games. So there the idea and we want to know what you think about it about it.

I say spend the time working on Combat Leader,It's going to blow SPWAW away anyway, and you'll redifine tactical wargaming at the same time!! I am amazed at your continued enthusiasm toward this old Steel Panthers game though.

Yes. Although I'm also looking forward to CL, any improvements to SP would be welcome since I'm sure I'll still be firing it up from time to time.

YES ! I don't know what would be more fun, playing a campaign against a competent human opponent, or making the human opponent's life miserable when playing as the computer. ;)

NO! Now before anyone starts shooting..... :) 1. No PBEM security...no PBEM interest. 2. "Spoiler" means limited ability to select forces...no balance....little interest I think.... and MOST importantly....... I'd like to sleep well at night knowing Matrix was focusing it's efforts on Combat Leader and Combat Assault. :) Personnally, I think you've done an excellent job wringing all you can out of the SP3 game engine! Kudos, now time to move on..... :D

No. Don't do much PBEM, H2H stuff as my free time is limited. I feel that SPWAW is reaching the limits of development. Fine game that it is, it's time to re-orient to CL et al.

I'm not sure I appreciate the full implication of this, but variables are good. OK!

NO, I agree with those who think we should move on to CL. The biggest reason for my 'Nay' is the security question. Every little improvement on this game is good, but it takes time away from Matrix creating a truly revolutionary new game!
