Hi all,

Recently, I came accross this site :

British Pathe put online "the world's first digital news archive".
3500 hours of film, 12 millions of stills images.

It's not free of rights though, you have to buy. But the previews are worth it and low quality stills are free for personnal use. Check the licensing terms.
