TURN 1

Kamaraden!
We have been assigned the task of advancing from our current positions through the small town to our East and on to the West bank of the river in the East. There are 4 areas of VH that me must secure (3 of them we need to hold in our possession for as many turns as possible). There is also what is believed to be the enemys VHs deep in the East that we will go after, a whole bottle of Schnapps to the men that capture it!!
I believe that with our Kampfgruppe we have the sufficient force to achieve this!
Division will support us as they are able.

Initial deployment to the FUP and subsequent moves to the LOD went without incident. All section commanders in radio contact with no breakdowns or stragglers.
Donner und Blitzen!! :o the Russians have better intel, or luck, than I thought. A widespread opening barrage of theirs caught several of our units causing some suppression and the odd casualty. In return our opening barrage has apparently destroyed a 50mm morter squad!!! :D
After this all commanders report that move out from LOD went almost as expected with only the odd unit stragling to maintain formation. :)

We await the Ruski's move.

As you can see from the theoretical plans that we have acquired above from a captured german officer,the ever thourgh Germans have done their homework .The Grand Army is now in a position to counter the Germanic hoards.
We shall implement the counter as devised by Marschall Zukov himself!
Transmit ready to commence operations on the new frequency upon my command!
You!,You! and You!-arrange a firing squad for our german friend!;if anybody shirks ther duty arrange a firing squad for the sympathiser!-their is no morals in this mans army!,they want "liebenstram" we give it -six feet under.-Dismissed! :mad:
