Last week, I've removed all the cookies off my PC. So, when visiting the forum, I have had to enter my login and password: no success... Due to the hacker attack, probably.
I asked that my password will be remembered to me, giving my email adress: never received the email... I tried to register under a new name: no success, because my email adress was already attibuted to someone (me of course!). yesterday I asked help to the webmaster; no answer received yet.
Finally I've decided to register under a new name, with another of my email adresses, and as you can see, that's finally OK.
I'm bothered with that! I first registered under "Scorpio". Having had the same problem than actually, I registered under "Scimitar". And now, it's my third registration! Damn bloody hacker!!!
Does anyone have had same problems than me? Am I the lone to be obliged to create a new login?

Is it possible you registered the former user under a e-mail address you forgot?

That's my case, took a while to dig up the address I used to have in my profile.

I was once known as "Charles 22", not "Charles_22", but that was quite a long time ago. My former self still exists, such as yours does, only, just like you, I cannot access it. My advise is to speel out the same i.d. pretty much buty just insert an underscore or asterisk (whatever works) somewhere. It helps matters too, if your name consists of 2 words that would normally have a space between them (such as my original did). Maybe you should change your name to "Scorpio 1" for example and 'when' this occurs again you can be Scorpio_1. Probably with the name so similar most people wouldn't even notice the difference. Imust say I didn't pick my logonid as two words for that reason, but it does help in retrospect.

Hi Belisarius, I'm sure I gived the good email adress (because it was so noted in my memento) - but it was effectively the most logical reason.
Charles_22, your idea is excellent. Don't be surprised to see a Scimitar_"anything" in the forum soon...
Thanks to both of you, anyway.

Thank god my logon still works here, but at Wargammer it does not. When I tell it to send me my password it just gives me a page cannot be displayed error. Ive been waiting for it to be fixed, but it hasn't been.

Shaun,

The email adress you indicate is correct, but I did not received your email (nor those I previously asked to Matrixgames to remember my my password).

It seems that there is a problem for Matrixgames sending me emails. Don't know why... Problem with my provider?
