I still find SP2 map too small for mordern combat, SP3 is better but I do not like the ideal of lumping a group of tanks into one, it is abit unrealistic. But modern tanks in SP2 can nearly fire from one end of the map to another does not that have a bit of problem. Like wise SP3 is different from SP2, the map is bigger and each hex range is enlarge too. Maybe reducing each unit to one only may help and I found that with SP3, the AI is better as I see more enemy counter artillery than any other version. Even in SPWAW, the enemy artillery when played by the AI doesnt seem to counter my OB artillery, except the Off Board which it depend on your unit experience and ability.
