In 1942 the German summer offensive started rolling forwards again. Their goal for this year was the Southern oil-fields and the (in)famous city Stalingrad.

The Germans captured the village Lubny and it`s suroundings on the road to Stalingrad even tough stiff resistance. Col. Hohlov, the praised Soviet general wasn`t too happy about this. He ordered his remaining troops to counter-attack.

This scenario is not historical.
