I voted for the Australians as they offer a wide and varied range of experiences. The three Australian divisions (6th, 7th and 9th) had varied histories but essentually started with North Africa (Bardia/Trobuk) against the Italians, then on to Greece, Crete and back to North Africa for El Alamain against the Germans. There was also a campain against the Vichy French in there as well. After that they were transferred to the Pacific for Milne Bay, Kokoda, Buna (the New Guinea campaigns). After that they were employed in the recapture of the Dutch East Indies/Borneo area and under took amphibious operations as part of these campaigns. All in all you will have fought all three axis forces and will have fought beside the British, Indians, South Africians, Greeks and US Army. If you wanted alternative threads in the manner of Screaming Eagles, you could possibly offer to recreate the Kiwis (New Zealanders) who remained in Europe to take part in the Sicily/Italian campaigns or recreate one the Pacific based units. On the down side there is not a great variation of unit types you can use and the campaign will not contain a lot of "Cool" units. The ANZAC forces were not very armor heavy though the Cavalry regiments (organic to the Aust infantry divisions) acquired small numbers local vehicles when necessary. There were three Armoured divisions equipped with Lee/Grants for home defence but they were never deployed. On the up side, some interesting specialised armour was starting to appear toward the end of the war (Frog flame thrower, Hedgehog 60kg Mortar Tank, Dozers etc) Just a suggestion,
