KP support - PBEM problems, please reply

I am experiencing the following while playing PBEM, any help would be greatly appreciated as right now I cannot play KP as I only play PBEM;

1) I start up a PBEM game and send my first turn to my opponent manually. My opponent plays his turn 1 and sends me my turn 2. When I try and load my game it does not highlight and cannot be loaded. When I hit the "cancel" and then the "return to start" buttons I get the following message

[Cannot Start Email Game]
Not your email file
Please play Axis turns

2) In this game I am the Axis and the file sent back to me has the proper "...._axs_2" suffix so it looks like the correct file is being sent. Also, this has happened now in 3 different games with 3 different opponents all of whom I have played before and know what they are doing, so I do not think all three are sending me the wrong file.

3) This has only happened on games that I start.

4) Me and my opponents are all playing version 1.11 although I do not have the "exe" copy protection fix loaded on my game.

5) I have uninstalled and reinstalled and although that seemed to clear up the problem with one of my opponents it is still happening with the other two.

6) These are secure games I am talking about.

Any suggestions? I am really desperate here as this makes the game unplayable for me and I am a big fan of the series.

Please no "They sent the wrong file" or "Are you sure you put the file in the Play folder" comments, I have played 20+ PBEM games of KP with no problems and my opponents and I know what we are doing. This seems to be a security feature issue.

Hi Hammer,

The reason people steer you towards the correct file answer is that to date, we have not had a problem with the security system that this method has not solved.

I suggest until we solve your issue that you play unsecured games. In my experience, the vast majority of KP gamers out there are very honest, and will not cheat.

Can i ask that you send me a copy of the file you are attempting to play. Also, would you be able to go through the exact steps you go through in starting an email game? ie a description of which screens you go through and what you enter into the details etc. Also, how you end the turn / exit the game to manually send the file.
Also, would you attempt to start a secure email game and send it to me at support@ssg.com.au, so that i can investigate the file and send it back.
