I was reading the Japan's possible defensive strategies post, and I got curious about something. We all know that the only way the Japanese can beat the Allies are if the Allies are being played by me.

But will the game take into account the Japanese civil defense plans in case of the initiation of Olympic and Cornet? You know, like citizen brigades with bamboo sticks, and suicide bombs? Ketsu Go 3 and Ketsu Go 6?

Will it be possible to invade the Home Islands at all?

Will there be an automatic close off date for atomics? How does the game take into account Manhattan, if at all?

Hi, It is possible to invade the Japanese Home Islands although I would recommend putting them out of supply first. (Out of supply units fight at reduced ability) No special units. The Allies get a few bombs.

I think there are special civilian units. I remember reading in the editor where certain slots had to be left open for militia units that form if Japan is invaded.
