Cant help but comment. Long ways back in 4.1 days I eagerly rushed out and spent 11 bucks on a magazine that I knew in advance was a waste of print and a sea of adds. But it had Steel Panthers on a cd inside supposedly.
This magazine was PC Gamer. It was then, and is now, a worthless rag to me. Those cds are as far as I am concerned a legitimate scam, but still a scam all the same. 11 bucks to get a magazine that wouldnt sell without the cd. AND THE CD DIDNT WORK!! And if you want you can always try and find out the difference between Matrix and that wretched magazine where service is concerned. PC Gamer cant spell the word "service". If you need Steel Panthers, decide now whether you will buy a Mega Campaign cd or whether you will troll the local neighbourhood for a person with a cd burner and a decent download speed if you dont possess a decent download speed yourself. Those are the only options worth considering.

Sarge: Just an aside to what you said, about that time I bought a copy of Computer Gaming World. It was "suppose" to have two cd's with it and on one of them was SPWAW. Well I got it home and found a cd was missing. Yep the one with SPWAW on it. So I went to thier website and sent off a nasty email and they surprised the sh#t out of me by saying they were sorry and if I would give them my snail mail address they would courier a copy to me. I agree that PC Gamer sucks huge but CGW really surprised me with thier customre service. I dont buy magazines very often but when I do its thiers.
