Whwnever I have had a problem in the past the responses that I have recieved from other members have allways fixed my problem. So with fingers crossed, maybe someone will be able to help me out again.

A few days ago a nasty " malware " thing had been placed on my computer. I have taken care of that problem. Unfortunatly I had to burn down the barn to save the chickens.

Now when I try to install KP again half way thru the download it tells me " install disk 2 ".

Now I can go into my Korsen folder and the load the game, no problem. But I never had to do that before. It would allways run from the disk, now the disk tells me I need to reinstall KP. And the disk will not let me reinstall it. Though saving games is now starting to be a problem.

My biggest concern is that I am anxiosly awaiting their next release and I feel if I don't get this problem solved first I am going to hold off on my purchase.

When ever I have had problems in the past these forums have allways been an tremendous help, a big thank you to you all.

PS- Does anyone have a number where I can talk to a real live person from Matrix Games ?

Hi Panzcaster,
Did you try to uninstall / reinstall the game? You need to go to start->settings->control panel->Add/Remove programs to do this. If this doesnt work then let me know.

Hey AlexS, thank you for your response.

I followed your instructions and after about 5 tries I finaly got it installed. The only problem is it looks liked I lost my Across the Dneper add-on.

But oh well, At least I got the original game back up and running and I am not out $ 50.00.

So MANY THANKS again for your help, I appreciate it.

Panzcaster,
After uninstalling, and then reinstalling the game, you will need to install all the patches up to v1.11 (You need to install BOTH the v1.10 and v1.11 patches). Then you will need to reinstall across the dnepr from the file you downloaded from digital river.
If it took 5 tries for windows to successfully uninstall and reinstall the game, i would seriously look at reinstalling your operating system as there may be something wrong with your windows install. This is a major step, and requires someone who knows their way around OS installing (I am not suggesting you try doing it yourself).
