Still playing the old 4.1 version, I cant get my hands on the Maus. I would really like to try it sometimes - The Maus That Roared is not enough. How to do this?

I think if you set the year to 1949 it becomes available as a Heavy Tank if you do a campaign. Also, if you have the scenario called (I think) "Santa's Train" or something to that effect you get LOTS of Maus(en?) That's got to be one of the neatest scenarios of them all. It reminded me of something from the old Command and Conquer transferred to SPWAW. Best,

The Maus is not avaliable because of the rarity setting in the OOB, and because there�s no "Very Heavy Tank" formation in the purchase units screen. To get the Maus, what I did was to change (with the OOB editor) the radio/rarity code to 92 (was 93), were the second digit is the rarity rating of the unit. Further I changed the avail date to something like mid 1945, and created a formation (with the same avail date, still with the OOB editor) I named "Very Heavy Tank", and put the Maus in it.
There�s a few ways to get the Maus, this one suited me, but you should do a search on this forum for the Maus tank, and you�ll get a bunch of answers. I also asked this question when I was new to SPWaW.
