Status: offline 		I'm 32. Started playing Napoleon with boardgames wargames at 15 and switching to PC wargames in my early twenties. I was getting fed up with PC wargames when I tried UV after watching this forum for some months. And now I'm deeply addicted. Playing only PBEM (I play maybe 40 hours against the AI just to learn the game... actually I probaly spend more time reading the forum and learn certainly more).

Status: offline 		41. I have a lot less time now for my favorite hobby since my son was born 4 years ago, and my daughter right behind him...My WITP fix will have to be met on late nights and weekends I'm afraid. I can't wait for this game!

It is amazing how consistently we seem to be in our late thirties, early 40s, though I'm really happy to see the 20-somethings in here too...

Started with AH's Battle of the Bulge in '73 or '74.

First strat game was Warship back in 86 me thinks. That was a serious thing for a 12 year old, but it was
straight down my alley already then

Remember how I tried to figure out those gun accuracy tables that could be found in the last pages of the manual.

At last someone else who played it. My younger brother tried it but was a sore loser. Didn't you just hate it when it was ATT ENG / DEF ENG, it lasted for ever until you encircled them and wiped them out when forced to retreat.

I had the ZX also, then the Spectrum 48k, before getting a newer Spectrum 128k +3 (+3 denoted floppy drive) . My favourite game was "Arnhem". Wasted away my 11-16 years playing that game .
