if the war goes badly for the Allies.....a big graphic appears of a "Yukko face", with text announcing your ouster as Supreme Commander of all Allied forces in the Pacific, and your reassignment as a consignment clerk.

Your computer then reboots.

Yes, you can declare war and set your BG's for "atomic attack"

However after pressing "end turn" another Yukko face graphic appears along with the following text:

From: Truman, Harry S, President, United States of America

to: Commander, Allied forces, Pacific Theater

"Your Fired"

Your computer then reboots, but additionally, your hard drive wipes as well

Reminds me of one of my old air traffic controller games.

Should you crash a plane, it not only fires you, reports how many people you killed and all that fun stuff, but deletes your profile from the game and removes all history of you ever having had the job. Dramatic, but very too the point!

I used to love the Air traffic control game.
Nobody makes it anymore unfortunately. It used to be fun.

Anybody:

Now that the time to buy is getting real close, will there be any new games started.
I really like reading the AAR reports and watching the various strategies employed.

Keeps me mentally pacified somehow, as if I am playing the game myself.

One can only hope, for I realize it is crunch time, and time is money or something like that (The Volunteer Movie, Tom Hanks)

As a point of fact, I think half the SNL cast is Canadian. Explains why it sucks. And dont even get me started on Kids in the Hall. I have never seen so much stupidity in one place at the same time. I think the explanation is that Canadians are just the simpleminded cousins of the English, who have real commedy, like Who's Line is it Anyway (the original, not the silly Drew Carrey spinoff) and Eddie Ezzard.

No, what is funny is that we send people down there to tell stupid jokes, you all laugh and pay them lots of money. Now who does that make the silly one?
