I had arranged for someone to purchase from Origins and express a copy of WITP. Unfortunately, that person had a family emergency, and I am now without an alternative. I had promised to get a copy delivered by Monday, and I am hoping that someone in Columbus might take pity on me and help me come through (this was to be a birthday gift for my husband!) If anyone is will to pick up and express a copy, I will arrange to pay all costs, including a "handling fee" for your help. You can also take comfort that you will be helping to keep at least one marriage in America together!

Jeez… they should put this on WitP site front page and print this on CD box… it will be amazingly effective advertising.. I can tell.

Can someone really help this lady! Unfortunately, I’m on the other continent…

Lets not be like that. You will really be rather embarrassed when Hubby shows up and reads your responses in a couple of days.

Well I did, (see my 1st post), then again, most of our friends will stop/stoop at nothing to get the game

I thought it. But decided not to mention it because of the slim chance it was a woman I didnt' want to offend by saying something off the wall that we say amongst ourselves when we kid around.

Maybe part of a test...Get's you WITP and then you have to choose CORRECTLY which one to unwrap. And even if ya make the right choice, calling out Shiranui instead of Sharon or something may be the end of it!

That would be a thoughtful gift.
Of course, if you took your copy, and installed it on the same day, you would be in the doghouse for months

Yes, I really am a woman and a wife. If anyone does want to contact me directly about my request, I will provide a direct e-mail, so that we can work on confirming it. I will admit, I am sort of surprised that one of you desperate guys didn't think of something like this. However, so far I haven't had any luck, so maybe this idea wasn't exactly great afterall.

Possible - I thought of that too, but I sniffed out the plan and shut it down before it could happen, I'll wait like the rest, ( beside I have plans of my own and WiTP wasn't part of them until next weekend)

Wouldn't be able to climb into it for a week anyway, guess I wait a week to buy it. But I do need by 4th of July weekend because that starts week 2 of my 3 week vacation.

Wife's been bribed and back to work,
Boss has been put on Hold,
No Honey do Lists for 3 weeks,

Oh what will I do with myself, Wait I know LEARN GAME (UV all over again)

see you guys when I come up for air.

All grognards in the Columbus area are now MIA, staring into computer screens, appearing catatonic to the world at large.

Let's play this one straight! I consider it a blessing if my wife doesn't have a list of honey-doo's when I get a new game - and doesn't need the computer. I'd rather make a mistake for the right reason than not. Anyone nearby who can help. I sure can't...it's a long way from the Okeefenokee to Columbus.

We have three 'puters at the house..........so my gaming is uninterrupted as far as the use of the 'puter goes.

Now, honey-dos are a whole other story.

Dear WitP Wife:

Hopefully one of the folks at Origins or one of the Matrix staff will read your e-mail before it's too late.

If you're not able to get a copy of the game in time to save your marriage, I'll marry you. An understanding woman like you is too rare to pass upon.

Maam, there is no game on this planet that could replace my wife, if only I had one.
Maybe I would think otherwise under different circumstances.
I wish you luck and if I had anyway to help you I would.

Hint: next time post picture, after all most of us are geeks.
