Could it be possible that people on the other side of the International Date Line are DD? I mean it is tomorrow there already.

But if Matrix released the game (you know the one I mean) then we wouldn't have to keep coming back to check...........
Actually, I have come to the conclusion that one of the Matrix guys is married to the owner of a very expensive private psychiatric hospital, and this whole thing is just a way of creating new business. OK MATRIX.....COME CLEAN......which one of you is it? And how many of us do you need to go mad before you make enough money to retire and release the game? Tell us, or......

Make that four and a half, me and my eleven year old son, who, despite being a typical fairly bright English kid, has as his one ambiition in life to be the gunnery officer on the Sterrett during 1st Guadalcanal, after reading "Tin Can Sailor" by Ray Calhoun...makes more sense that Harry Potter.

Someone mentioned the difference between CARRIERS AT WAR and UV/WitP, and how far we've come - imagine what we're going to have fifteen years from now!

My dream wargame is one in which you sit in a sort of office and receive reports - handwritten, radio messages, debriefs, etc., - and you have to command through a staff, without tactile feedback. What's more, you have to deal with the personality strengths/weaknesses of your staff and the time delays. Now THAT would be realistic.

Remember the talk about "Road To War", where you had a map and you drew operations onto it? I can't help thinking we;re gong to get there soon ... a long way from AH's Tactics and Blitzkrieg and Midway, eh?

It's been at least two hours since I last checked this board. That's not too bad, is it?

I've been trying to distract myself by playing Highway to the Reich. It's a great game, but every time I get to call in an airstrike, my mind starts wandering to the Pacific theater...

Having nothing better to do, I checked what version of DX my laptop has, and it is 8.2 or something like that. I guess I'll just have to upgrade it tonight, while waiting.
