right button freezes game...help

Hi everyone... SPWAW has been working great for a long long time. But now when I go to any battle in 8.1 or 7.1, when I hit the right button to change views/direction it will freeze and all I can do is alt F4 out. Never heard or seen this before.... Any help? What is really odd is that the right button click on rally and that works fine.

Try clearing the steel.prf file, in the save folder, the game will write a new one.
