i guy at work asked me what my hobbies were. i told him computer games, and reading. he said " you don't play sports or go out"? i said no. then he says "so you're a nerd". well if thats his definition of a nerd them i'm proud to say My Name is John and i'm a NERD...

I was also asked that question and I said PC games, wargames etc. And they said I was a nerd but I followed up by adding.....I still manage to get laid at least three times a week (for real) and that shut them up.

Well yeah, he does go out........................................to the computer store that is. I suppose an appropriate wargamer response to whether you play sports or not is "Do you play WAR?

I get paid big bucks just for being the Chief Nerd in my office, I even have my own group of little nerd working under me.

Plus I get to play golf, travel dine out and sometimes even get paid to bring the wife along. I'm glad I went to Nerd School

I play basketball and soccer religiously, go out, read dense history books, and play computer wargames, and my wife says I'm a "Closet Nerd".

No that means that when the day comes, and it will, when you sustain enough injuries through sports, or some freak closet accident if you will, that you'll be a full-fledged nerd.

Well then I guess I'm a geek too. So what?
I got a wonderful wife (I MEAN it), wonderful kids, a bunch of nerds working for me too like 'Point luck' and I can run 1h and still go out at night ... which I don't because of the wondeful wife and WitP!

A big HURRA for all the nerds and geeks!!!
