i would love a mediteranean campaign game. i have always found it fascinating. the italians, never have so many done so little with so much. they could have held the central med and taken malta but they didn't. then wasn't it montbatten discussing the aftermath of the royal navy loses at crete who said "it takes 2 years to build a warship but 200 years to build a tradition."
read an interesting book (can't think of the titile) that explained every major campaign in ww2 from the crude and refined hydrocarbons perspective. the italians could have done more but didn't have enough gas for their boats.

HEH! I was joking, but if you guys are already working on it, WHOO-HOO! I'll buy that one too when it's available. For now, it's time to read the manual, play the tutorial, and then find a couple of PBEM opponents.
