Any prgress with the UK/Euro stores yet? It's getting pretty late and I'm on the verge of getting the game from the US before I hit the sack. Is the Euro stores a long way off?

yes 17.5 %
Anyway I think paying in US$ could be better since, for most of the games the exchange ratio is 1€=1$ instead of 1€=1.2$

Just hope you don't get nailed on the exchange + the VAT slapped on top

Oh well, not much different then our 15% PST+GST on everything. War tax??? I thought we won! About time to repeal the War Tax measures!

Guys,

No final response from DR yet, just waiting on them to put the public pages up. I really wish I could join you in a few drinks about now...

IronDuke,

D'oh. Well, that's not unusual given how today has gone. Actually, I'm glad that one's done already. We gave them the final go ahead on the UK / Euro stores as well, I'm just waiting for those to update.

Regards,

- Erik

I can imagine it's been quite hectic and then some. Thanks for hanging around and posting updates. They certainly help, even if you can't give the green light yet. Getting back to some proper work on Battlefields will probably feel like a holiday, won't it?

Cheers,
John.

Any updated info on the UK site Erik? I vowed to wait for the 15 minutes, and then another, and then another... etc! I would gladly stay up all night but I don't it's a viable excuse for falling asleep at work tomorrow (0100 here atm).

AlbA,

It's literally "any minute". Right now, I'm not sure why it's not up yet, as all green lights are set here. Probably just taking them a bit of time to flush out the caches and get it on the public page.

Regards,

- Erik

Ahh. Strange. It was up. I tried to order. It borked --- rinse and repeat x 2 and now it's off the UK Store again!

Nevermind. I'll pretend to do something else for 5 minutes then try again!

Erik,
Everything looks good. Very strong download rate etc. The only thing I noticed was that the credit card screen came prepopulated with some company's address in the billing field, although no credit card details were there. Also, the game price jumped by several pounds after selecting it as some taxes were added. I'm sure the taxes are valid, etc, (and the game's worth every penny) but might be an idea to include them on the front screen if possible (not sure if you even have control over this) to allow people to see the complete cost before they go to pay.

Cheers, and thanks for the support.

John.

John,

What company name was in the field? Has anyone else seen this?

I'll check on the tax issue, not sure if there's another way to do this but I agree it would be nice.

Regards,

- Erik
