This happens only with the manual and tutorial files. The others open fine. Can someone upload these to me?

Are you using version 6 (or later) of Acrobat? I had to update both my Acrobat and IE in order to read the manuals.

Yep I had the same problem, updating to the latest Adobe acrobat fixed it for me. No problems since :)
