Has anyone run into this problem? Setup: I'm running SPWAW on a reasonable system (2.0GHz, 512Mb, 128Mb video card) out of Win2k with the latest version of DirectX and the latest Nvidia drivers. Problem: When I start SP it loads normally (I get the SSI screen, then the credits for the Matrix team, etc.) but then when it goes to the actual switchboard (you know, the screen that says "What do you wish to do, Colonel?" or whatever) the colors of the background photo are just ... horrible. It's like a pink-splashed negative of whatever picture is supposed to be there. Is this a common problem? Is there an easy fix? I'd like to play the game again (haven't downloaded it since 6.1, I think) but I get to the main switchboard and the pink fills me with such peace and passivity that I can't even begin to think about meeting engagements, interlocking fields of fire, and all that.
