Banners are not hard to make with your basic image editor. Anyone who wants one should try it and play around can be fun and will learn something new.

Holly truth!

Gentlemen, with all my respect, please, do not place orders for banners anymore. Subchaser is not a trademark of 3DCG studio, Subchaser is just an ordinary WitP player and he also wants to play this game from time to time. I hope for your understanding

Please make my banner one including several bb's firing at some poor Island natives
including sound graphics lol

As noted above they're not too hard to create on your own. Kinda fun too. This one is just a scanned image out of a Time-Life book with a little Photoshop lettering applied. Took a little more effort to create the roundels.

Brady,

You've disapponted me. I was sure you would have requested a banner with a Val taking off from a CV's deck, armed with a 250kg bomb + 2 x 60kg bombs.

You are absolutely right Subchaser, all you need is Photoshop and internet access. And...oh yeah skills and the wherewithal!!! Rocking banners Sub, absolutely stunning stuff!

BTW....this is not a request for a banner but if you happen to run out of ideas, I would love to see one with some Ruskie hardware. :)

Some image editors such as Photoshop allow you to apply edge effects to objects such as type or other closed shapes, Bevels, contours, drop shadows, glows, patterns, etc. Just gotta experiment with them a little.

Hi!

I have Photoshop, is it a specialized effect from a plugin you are using or a regular filter?

Thanks!

This was done in PS ver 6.0. Go to your Layers menu. Click on Layer Styles. You'll see a whole list of options. Drop Shadow, Inner Glow, Outter Glow, Bevel and Emboss, Satin, etc. Assuming you have some text on that layer (and it's not the locked background layer) start playing around to see what effects you can get. The possibilites are endless...so experimenting is your best way to start learning what can be done.

Ok, next, I have a place to host...do I just use the [image][/image] tags in my sig? I tried it on my own site and it did not work.

Thanks!
