Looking through the leader list, I have found very little room for addition.

There are only about 7 free spaces for leaders, but oodles of leaders that need adding.

I would like this thread to post TWO things.

#1. Missing leaders (along with reasons)
#2. Leaders we could do without (along with reasons)

#1. Missing Leaders
-Lt. General Yamashita (IJA General, commander of 25th Army, and 14th Army)
-AM Playfair P. (Commander AHQ India until March 1942)
-AVM Thomas M. (Commander of AHQ India from March 1944)
-AVM D'Albiac, J.H.S. (Commander of AHQ Ceylon/222 Group until December 1942)
-AVM Lees, A. (Commander of AHQ Ceylon/222 Group from Dec 1942 until Apr 1944)
-AVM Durston A. (Commander of AHQ Ceylon/222 Group from Apr 1944 until 1945)
-AVM Breakey J.D. (Commander of AHQ Ceylon/222 Group from 1945)
-AVM Baldwin J.E.A. (Commander of 3rd TAF from Nov 1943 until Aug 1944)
-AM Coryton A. (Commander of 3rd TAF from Aug 1944)
-AVM Pulford C.W.H. (Commander of AHQ Far East until Feb 1942)
-AVM Maltby P.C. (Commander of AHQ Far East from Feb 1942)
-AM Garrod, G. (Commander of ACSEA from Nov 1944)
-ACM Park, K. (Commander of ACSEA from May 1945)

*Note, I think that removing the RAF Groups (221-231 Group RAF) and replacing them with higher RAF Commands (AHQ India, AHQ Ceylon, AHQ Far East, ASCEA) would better represent RAF Command system in the Far East, plus lower the number of RAF HQ's, freeing up space for other missing HQs (Such as a US Submarine HQ, USAFFEAF HQ)

*The RAF is totally missing commanders (Except for Pierce, R. who is rated as a general but should be a ACM), and I feel that the RAAF is missing commanders as well, but cannot find any listing of them.

#2. Redundant Leaders
-General Haig A.B. [19870 BRITISH] (he retired in 1942, and a HQ representing what he commanded, Southern India, does not exist in the game)
-Admiral Wavell, C.M. [18853 BRITISH] (I cannot find anything he commanded)

Are there any other leaders missing who shouldn't be (i.e., the HQ/Unit exists, but they don't) or are there other leaders who are in the game but shouldn't be (i.e., the HQ/Unit does NOT exist).

Didn't Wavell command British troops in Burma or Malaya for a time?

Yes, there are currently two Wavell's, one the Field Marshall, the other an Admiral. It is the Admiral who is up for debate.

There is only one Wavell A very nice cigar by La Gloria Cubana!. I used to smoke those back in Miami; I'd by them by the roll. They are hard (and expensive) to find here Alas.

Yea I found it hard to believe that General Yamashita was missing.

Hey!

Is "Red" Mike Edson in the game? I haven't seen him.

Thanks!

Does the debate concern his reality? I can find no trace of him.

I got it, thanks. I see that Joe Foss comes in with VMF 115, while his actual unit 121, is missing. I'm just wandering why VMF- 121 didn't make it into scenario 15?

Thanks!
