I am slightly dyslexic, which, in me, manifests itself in some fine motor trouble. I frequently miss the key I'm trying to type, things like that. Well, when trying to hit the (+) key on my keypad to zoom in some while setting up a game, i hit (Enter) instead. That created a small line with a cursor at the bottom of my map, right above the section that has info about the unit selected. Can I somehow make this cursor line go away without having to re-boot the game? V-man

The Enter key works for SP:WAW, for general computer stuff, the BIOS has a place where you set the typing rate. This controlls how long the computer waits between key strokes and/or the buffer size for the keyboard. I have the same problem. By the time the signal gets from my brain to my finger, there is a long line of whatever key my finger was sitting in up on the screen. I forget if you need to go up or down, if I could remember skit like that, I wouldn't need to. Experiment. Hold down the key while you are booting.

You're gonna have to forgive me, but I have no idea what you were trying to tell me to do. Hold down what key? this only occurs *after* I've booted the game and am doing something in the deployment screen.

Sorry, my Bag. Look on the lower right corner of your keyboard. You will see a larger key with a zero on the upper left of that key, above the letters Ins. just to the right of that is the Del key. it is the bottom right key on your numlock keypad. Some key boards(those manufactured since about 1990 have a Delete key also. In computer short talk When you see the <>, the word, letter or number inside the brackets means 'this key' Exanple: The key with F5 on it is written , the key with the Question mark on it is written If I was saying hit the dollar sign, <$>. And at this point I want you to forget about BIOS settings. I think there is a good chance of your trashing your system, and I would feel guilty.
T. (find someone that knows about computers and get them to reset your typamatic rate. Or type ahead buffer, I don't know what the modern jargon is. Every 10 years geeks change the jargon, so us old guys are kept aware that we are old. When I did it we called it DP, then it went to IS then to IT, I have no idea what the 21st century term for fooling around with computers is).
