HI,
I encounter problems with ordering "war in the pacific" and need help.
I'm from Belgrade/ Serbia (former Yugoslavia), we are in Europe but not part of EU.
I have regular Visa card (for internet payment), with money on it, card is valid and "fresh" etc.
When I first time select country / reggion I use "europe", then I fill the ordering form, after hiting submit, blank page appears in IE with message "page not found" (and in the windows task bar "HTTP 404 not found).
After this I try to order the game by selecting "other countries, then YU" in the first screen, again fill the form and this time message appears "We're Sorry.
We are unable to verify your credit card information, please use alternative payment option if available.
(Error Number: 30024901 - 0)"

I try it several times (last 2 days), but the result is always the same with this 2 possible results. I send a mail to customers support, but only get an "auto" message with information that doesn't help. I write again, but no answer...

I am pretty disapointed about this, not to mention time I spent trying to order the game, I pay extra for unlimited internet access (so I can download the game), get new visa virtuon card (for internet payment), put money on in, and now have nothing...

Please, someone from matrix help, I have the "visa", have the money and I want this game !

You might check out the More Digital River fun and games thread. They have the some problems over there, only they tried to order from Croatia.

Yap. We are still waiting overhere too...

They are promising a quick solution, but nothing happened so far...

Hi again,
More help needed. In my bank (Austrian Raiffeisen bank in Belgrade/Serbia) they told me that its possible that my credit card transaction is not accepted, because with my credit card (visa) number I must also enter a (3 digit) security number from back of the card (I have it) called "CVV2" number. Without this number the bank won't accept transaction ???
Do anyone know anything about this (I'm not an expert for this), I can't see anywhere in order form I can enter this numbers.
Is there a sulution for this?

Please e-mail us with your info at support@matrixgames.com - this looks like the same default restriction. We are trying to get all these restrictions lifted ASAP but as forum regulars might imagine, we've compiled a fairly lengthy to-do list for Digital River to date. I believe these restriction issues should be resolved imminently.

Hi,
Days and days are passing, and I'm still unable to get my game. No respond from support either. Now its one week since I first time fill the order form and get that "CC problems" messages.
I want to play the game and pay for that but I can't for unknown reasons.
This is getting frustrating
Can I send my CC data manually, obvious the site does not proceed it well?

Hi,

After reading your thread before ordering I tried to use my CW2 code (VISA card). Every time I tried Submit I got a 'Web server error. Please try again'. Finally I tried without the code and it worked fine
It's still downloading but sofar everything looks fine. I guess these things depends on the country and especially the banks handling the cards. I've had problems before on another site and never managed to place my order.

I hope they fix it for you.

I was kind of surprised you didn't need to enter the 3 digit security code with Digital River. Plus the none secure connection (SSL) in Europe. A little unprofessional i think.

Hi again,

Its almost 10 days I try to get my game...
Still nothing.
Always get the message:"We're Sorry.

Can I pay on some other site, obviously DR don't proceed this CC info well. Its strange I didn't need to enter the type of card (visa), maybe our digits is not standard, and the server check some othe card. Maybe its about the the CW2 code don't know what the reason may be since I'm no expert for this matters.
Just wish to get my game.
Any solution? Can I pay on some other site?

This is Daniel, right? I'm sorry it's taken so long, but it's not a country issue, it's something specific to your order.

I followed up on your issue as recently as yesterday and you should have received more e-mails from DR to resolve the issue. Did you receive an e-mail yesterday from DR customer service with direct assistance on a final resolution? If not, please let me know at support@matrixgames.com

All store connections are secure, I'm not sure what you are referring to here... ?

After 15 days of trying, contacting customers support, and checking with my bank for CC, the game is finaly DOWNLOADING!
At the end I give money to my friend from Ireland, who orders the game for me with his CC, and sent me all the data.

Just fish to inform everybody that from tomorrow I start my "war in the pacific" campaign, but I just finished "order and download WITP" campaign, and that's the bonus campaign I got with this game


Pearl, here I come...
