Hi, I had noticed that aircraft frequently suffer 1 point of damage and refuse to return to battle, so I decided to make a little test. I created a battle, placed 2 small AA-guns on a map and made attack runs with 16 planes. First time that I tried this 6 planes suffered 1 point of damage, second time 8 planes. NO HITS were scored! Is this supposed to work like this or is this a bug? Timeframe was 8/44 and countries were USA-GER and RUS-GER. Belaja smert

When aircraft come in and make a pass they take a morale check and a weapons check. The weapon check is based on having weapons bigger than MGs remaining. If they fail either check they are given a point of damage as a "marker" so teh game knows they have either used up all there ground attack ammo, or have decided its time to return to base (failed the morale check). If the plane has a 1 flag in teh top armor then it is a "ground attack specialist" aircraft and does npt have to take thte morale check (but still takes the weapons check). Details are in the SP3 manual.
