If I set a region to computer controlled as the Allies in the main campaign, will it take care of rotating troops in and out of malaria zones as needed?

If not, will my guys die out from malaria if I don't occassionaly take care of this myself?

How about the Japs? Do they need to be rotated in and out of malaria zones or are they immune from its affects? Does the oponent AI do this for them if needed?

The sad thing is that I could not find an answer to your question in the manual. Common sense would say that either the AI is not affected at all, or yes it can rotate troops and handle this. If it can't then this is an issue that needs be addressed. I am sure one of the beta testers can answer your question.

Maybe this is what they mean by the AI getting "Administrative" help on the Hard Level - automatic malaria recovery perhaps?

Any chance someone from Matrix or a beta tester could shed some light on these questions?

Not too likely, few of us play with computer control enabled because we like to rule everything.

Well for those of us 'weenies' that are still learning (and don't have 8 hours a day free to play) and want the computer to control some of the regions, don't you think this is an important question?

It doesn't appear to be covered in the manual.

I thought that was one of the functions of this forum.

Guess you didn't get me ... I mean it is unlikely we'd have an answer for that because we don't use the computer control. I would assume that since you are only allowing the computer partial control, you'll need to rotate your own units.

I got you just fine.

My question was could anyone from Matrix or a beta tester answer this. I understand that beta testers don't know, but what about Matrix? If I wrote the code for this game, I could answer this question.
