Playing the main campaign, as Allies, I placed ALL areas under computer control, then, went and turned human control on the local islands of Pearl harbor, Hawaii, Midway, Johnson Is and Wake. the next turn, the computer changed all the LCU future plans (resetting the days to 0). Also, unable to "disband" any TFs, even ones I made after I turned the Computer dock to human...

Is there a trick to I guess, tricking the computer to leave human areas alone ? Human LCU and Human TF's alone ?

side note on the Z command, and placing "areas" into control

Southwest Pacific and South Pacific under the same Political pool ? That makes it kinda rough since one is army, one is navy, and both have completely different roles in that area... any chance of splitting up the HQ areas some more then just seven(7) areas ?

The area control feature usually overrides any human controlled subfeature so if the area is computer controlled everything in that area the computer wants and will take back.

Also keep in mind that there is a known bug which will negate (Ground Hog Day - the movie...) any loaded TF's from leaving San Fran at the end of each turn unless you put the No Pacific Area to Human Control. There's not much to do in this area as the Allies so you might as well just keep it on Human anyway.
