OK I am playing a campaign and have tried to use barge carriers and barges for the first time. In SP III, they'd sit next to teh river, launch the barge, and the barge, in a full water hex NEXT TO A Tank (in a half water hex) would
load a tank. Well, now, with "next to" loading written out of the game, there is no way to load onto a barge, since it won't enter and stay in a half water hex. As long as a fix might be considered, how about allowing barges to *link* into a pontoon bridge? V-man

Barges CAN load from one hex away by clicking on the BARGE FIRST, then the unit to be loaded. THey can only carry one unit at a time that way. It took a long time to get a pontoon bridge together, lots longer than just lining up barges...
