I am playing scenairo 15 as the Allies against the AI. I am currently on the Dec 22 turn and the ship damage seems to just be melting away. On 12/8/43 I left three of the most damaged ships at Pearl and sent the remaining damaged ships back to the West Cosat. I left the CL Raleigh (SYS 98 FLT 56); BB Arizona (SYS 72 FLT 28): and DD Selfridge (SYS 52 FLT 63). On 12/22/43 all the floatation damage has been repair and the system down to following respectively 89/69/36. The TF (9 ships) sent to the coast results are similiar and I am still about 2 days out of Port. Again no remaining floatation damage and varying drops in system damage from none to 10%with one increasing one point. Surely this can not be right. If impoartant I can provide the exact numbers.

Please excuse me if this has previously been mentioned.

That sounds about right. Floatation and Fire damage can be fixed fast, granted it did take 13 days according to your two dates. System goes done slower, the closer it gets to 0 the slower it goes. Your numbers you posted look about right. Nothing to see here move along.

I put my damaged Fuso in the Osaka Port. It took about 4 days to repair 1 system damage point.

is there anything I can do to speed up the repair process ?
what impact have the ship repair points in each port ?

4 days per SYS point is about right. As mentioned Fire and Flood drop quick once a ship is docked. Fire damage is often repaired while the ship is still at sea in fact.

You MIGHT improve the rate of repair slightly in a port with high repair numbers and nothing in drydock getting fixed. Say Tokyo for example. But that's the key. The more ships you have getting patched up, the slower SYS damage takes to fix.
