Is there way to open a particular map from a pre-set campaign in the editor, and save it for use in another scenario?

i.e., say I wanted to use the first map from "Balkans Crisis" in a scenario . . . any way to open it via the editor?

I've tried campaign editor, but that doesn't seem to work.

You need to copy the campaign scenario to the scenario directory. Then you use the scenario editor.

In any battle that you play against the AI you may save your turn.

Now if you edit the name of the saved turn to a vacant scenario slot (using windows explorer for example) then move the scen files into the scen folder, you can restart the game in solitaire mode then open the scenario editor to load the scenario you created. Use the map editor to save the map to a vacant slot in the map folder and there you are.

Good luck
