Well, I messed up, spent way too much time on a Full Campaign to figure out that I gotta wait for the patch. I hit the no replacements button since I wanted to do that myself. Of course that hamstrung the Japanese AI and instead of going into the enemy's order of battle and changing everything by hand, I'll just wait for the patch and crank this up again.

Its Jan 15, 1942. Singapore just fell. Ragoon however is a bright spot with a Japanese Division surrounded and cut off just east of the city. The AI blundered there...but my Indian Commonwealth troops don't seem to have the punch to take advantage of that situation. I was closing in on having all 4 US carriers gathered up for a big task force. Plus all kinds of material, supplies and troops were being convoyed to pearl and the SW Pacific.

I did have quite a bit of fun, and it was probably good practise for the real deal when the patch hits. I'm again going to go Allied on hard mode. Campaign 15 with just a few ships added to the RN. Mainly a squadron of Tribal class Destroyers since thats what my clan uses over at WWII Online. I put in our Ship Names and the Commanders. (For example the HMS Eskimo with Mingbat commanding)

More importantly I added two CLAA Class Cruisers named after my Kids! They got a huge kick outta that. Also my Brother has a Repulse Class Battle Cruiser named after him (HMS Hundley)...and finally an old Queen Elizabeth class ship named after my mom. (The HMS Queen Nell.)

I only really had two big naval battles not counting catching unescorted enemy troop convoys three or four times. The first where the Repulse, Hundley and Prince of Wales along with the Tribal destroyers sank two Japenese cruisers north of Singapore. Then unfortunately I got too cocky and sent the Hermes down the Malaysa Strait and got hammered! I lost my only Brit Aircraft carrier in a stupid blunder. Here is a drawing of that action:

The Hermes is in flames due to sink...just a bit after this my Daughters namesake the HMS Princess Lauren got hammered. Huge flotation damage and like 45% system damage. That ship made it to Singapore for emergency repairs and right now is steaming to Columbo for a big repair job.

It was fun....I'm stoked about the patch and going at this again. I'm planning on doing a thread with my amateur drawings to illustrate the madness and mayhem of my next campaign.

S!

Love the drawing. Did you do it on paper and scan it in?
